Am I a Cyborg
James is an inventor who pushes the boundaries of AI. He is working on a secret project to deploy robots into battlefields to protect and assist Marines. Severely injured, he learns that a battlefield is a dangerous place. James must reset his expectations. The real world is cruel and deadly. Now, he must deal with a world that treats him as a second-class person, a reject, a failure.
James knows that his expertise can make a significant difference. He must convince a hard-core Marine General to take a chance on his ideas and his technology. He can utilize technology and AI to help damaged soldiers return to action. If James can make it work, future battles will be decisive with minimal casualties. The casualties will re-engage and obliterate the enemy’s will to fight.
Every advanced military development attracts others who want the technology without doing the actual work. This project is no different. James is forced to deploy his prototype cyborg augmentation to save his friends and coworkers. Are the prototypes working enough to save people against a trained, aggressive special operations team?
The Last Dwarf
In the world, a single dwarf can change the course of a war. Hallr fights to have food and salvage gear after the battle. Hallr avoids contact with humans, barely surviving. Witches are constantly trying to kill him. He meets a blacksmith named Milfred, who has an apprentice named Agnarr, and they have a proposition. Travel together to find the ancient, lost Dwarven city of Molgan. The city is the only place with forges that can craft Dwarven Mithril tools, weapons, and armor. When they encounter a witch Hallr refuses to join them. They simply travel in the same direction to get away from scanvengers after the war.
Conscripted for another war, Hallr finds a tall boy, some think a giant named Kaleb. After being attacked by witches again, Hallr agrees to travel with the group and search. A Mithril box Hallr scavenged after a battle, with unusual writing on the side, becomes the object that a witch coven will pursue Hallr and his friends. No one knows what’s in the box, but the witches think it is a training manual to become the most powerful witches possible. Now, a dwarf, a giant, a cleric, a wizard, and a master smith search for a city lost for centuries.
Finding the city, an almost dead dragon, Xylia, and the treasure, the group is trapped by a storm. They learn multiple lost dwarven secrets from the past. Rumors and common sayings people use are confirmed. Mithril armor can protect people from witches, which is why witches have been taking Mithril armor when they can. They also learn that to make new Mithril armor, they need a healthy dragon’s fire breath. The group is committed to stopping the evil witches. That requires healing a dragon, repairing equipment, and bringing the city back to life.
They don’t know their time is limited. They were followed by the coven. The witches now know the area of the city. They use the winter to get prepared. When spring arrives, they will take the city. Then, with Molgan as the witch city, every human kingdom will be subjugated. They won’t need to hide or act as servants.
Can Hallr and the group respond and survive the coven, or will this be the last dragon and the last dwarf?
Time Zombies
Civilization is ending. In the last four years, multiple biological attacks from terrorists and countries wanting to be the next superpower have devastated the population. Multiple plagues infecting the same people cause a mutation much worse than any original disease. No one who is infected survives. About twenty-four hours after death, some reanimate as a zombie.
Jess Ledger has been surviving by hiding and stealing food. When zombies force him to a simple building seeking refuge, he becomes part of a desperate plan. The building has a team of soldiers and scientists with a crazy idea to prevent the zombie plague. They have one chance: finish a time machine and use it to go back and prevent the creation of the viruses that cause zombies.
Time travel will alter their reality and their future. Each person traveling back has personal motives, not simply to prevent the end of the human race. Can Jess prevent the development of one of the deadliest plagues ever created? Or will powerful people use him to develop something worse? Little decisions can have huge impacts on the future. He will make changes. Can he find the solution or die as patient zero?
Time Twin
FBI Special Agent Nathanial (Nate) Ash is being investigated by the Secret Service, and their accusation is making him sound crazy.
He needs to investigate the accusation and prove whether there is a conspiracy to shoot the president in four days, and he isn’t part of it. There is a deadline, and Nate is not sure he can trust anyone. The deeper he investigates, the worse it gets.
When he puts the pieces together, he has to make a decision. Does he shoot the president as predicted, or with no evidence, convince his bosses that leaders are being impersonated?
Fraudulent Detective
Pat thought it was simple. He will be rich, very rich. Buying a box of junk at an estate sale, he finds an egg/a rock/brick. After sitting in the sunlight for a while, it turned on. Now he has a personal time machine. Testing has gone well. After a big move day on the stock market, jump back a couple of days and invest. When he jumps back, he has made a hefty profit.
Now he wants to go bigger. His plan is sound. Take diamonds because they are small and easy to carry. Go back to before a big change in the stock market and invest. He will have instructions, an investment plan, and a broker can execute for him over time. Trying to hide the device as he is programming the jump, he makes a mistake. Now he is decades back in time. The device takes several weeks to charge with solar energy. He is before his research dates and trapped.
When a murder is committed, he is suspected, being the stranger in town. The town doctor is investigating and doesn’t know what he is doing. The sheriff is only interested in fleecing the townspeople. Pat has to help with simple forensics and investigative methods he can remember to find the real killer, or he will hang. If he can’t solve the case, he needs to get his execution delayed so the device can charge and he can leave.
Time is no longer on his side. He has to remember basic science and what he learned on crime shows to solve this murder. He suspects there is a serial killer, but that makes it worse. Can he solve the murder, or will he become the next cadaver for the doctor to declare dead?

Salvage Orphan
A large ship of immigrants is attacked and then left adrift. The robots, who hid one small boy, are now trying to repair the ship and raise the kid. When power begins to fail on the ship they devise a way to save teh boy. Salvage key parts of the ship, which will kill life support, to create a suspended animation survival capsule to send the boy toward humans.
Boy grows up remembering what he learned from teh robots and uses the salvage and repair skills. Eventually, he wants to return to help the robots and claim the immigration ship as salvage.
